Forest Grove’s Camila’s Cafe Serves Up New Breakfast Delights

Forest Grove’s newest culinary addition, Camila’s Breakfast Cafe, has officially opened its doors on Main Street, bringing a comforting and diverse breakfast and brunch menu to the heart of the community. The cafe, a long-held dream of owners Martin Juarez and Rosa Vasquez, celebrated its soft opening on Friday, March 27th, with an event that brought together local dignitaries and community members, underscoring its intention to become a neighborhood gathering place.

Juarez and Vasquez have dedicated over a decade to realizing their restaurant dream, which began as a catering business named Camila’s. Their journey eventually led them to Forest Grove, with significant support from the Forest Grove and Cornelius Chamber of Commerce, particularly through its small business incubator program.

The cafe’s menu features a wide array of breakfast classics, including pancakes, waffles, French toast, burritos, eggs Benedict, and various omelets, with gluten-free options available. In addition to their savory offerings, Camila’s plans to introduce an espresso bar and a selection of fresh-baked pastries. The establishment is open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., aiming to serve the community throughout the morning and early afternoon.

Owners Martin Juarez and Rosa Vasquez see Camila’s Breakfast Cafe as more than just a dining spot; they aspire for it to be a vibrant community hub. Local officials, including Mayor Malynda Wenzl and City Councilor Angel Falconer, have expressed enthusiasm for the cafe’s opening, highlighting its potential to strengthen community bonds through shared meals and connection.

Camila’s Breakfast Cafe is located at 2014 Main St. in Forest Grove.
