Von Ebert Brewing Unveils 2026 Beer Calendar, Adds New West Coast IPA Amid Major Expansion

Portland, Oregon’s Von Ebert Brewing has announced significant news. The brewery revealed its 2026 beer release calendar. This calendar includes a major addition to its core lineup. It features a brand-new year-round beer. This new offering is the Reverse Math West Coast IPA.

Introducing Reverse Math West Coast IPA

Reverse Math West Coast IPA is designed for variety. It joins Von Ebert’s existing six core beers. Head brewer Sam Pecoraro stated the goal. They wanted a West Coast IPA that contrasts with their Volatile Substance Northwest IPA. In essence, it offers a different IPA experience for customers.

The beer uses pilsner malt. It also features a modern hop combination. This creates high intensity aroma and flavor. Tasting notes include red berry and strawberry. Guava and sweet fruits are also present. The profile is crisp and dry. Reverse Math boasts a 7.5% ABV. It will be available in 12-ounce six-packs.

Major Expansion Fuels Growth

This release comes as Von Ebert Brewing undergoes significant expansion. The brewery recently acquired a new production facility. This is the former Ecliptic Brewing space on North Cook Street in Portland. This move dramatically increases their brewing capacity. Production is set to grow from 4,000 barrels per year to 20,000 barrels per year. This is a fivefold increase.

Furthermore, this expansion enables broader distribution. Von Ebert beers are now reaching more markets. Distribution has expanded throughout Oregon and Washington. It now includes Colorado, California, and Japan. This allows the brewery to meet growing demand. It also supports their creative brewing endeavors.

Core Lineup and Future Plans

Reverse Math West Coast IPA joins a respected lineup. The existing core beers include Volatile Substance NW IPA. This popular IPA won a gold medal at the 2021 Great American Beer Festival. Sector 7 Hazy IPA is also a core offering. Pils, a German-style Pilsner, is another award-winning beer. The lineup also features Clubhaus Lager, Drink Me Potion Raspberry Tart Ale, and Waning Echoes American Stout.

In 2026, Von Ebert plans to brew at least 26 other beers. This includes numerous collaborations with other breweries. The brewery has a history of creative partnerships. This demonstrates their commitment to innovation and community. The phrase “Where Tradition Meets Evolution” guides their approach.

A Brewery Evolving

Von Ebert Brewing was founded in 2018. It initially focused on German-style lagers. However, the success of IPAs like Volatile Substance created production challenges. High demand outstripped their previous capacity. The recent expansion addresses these limitations directly. It allows them to brew more beer at higher quality.

News for Oregon Beer Fans

This news marks an exciting chapter for Von Ebert Brewing. The addition of Reverse Math West Coast IPA diversifies their core offerings. The expanded production and distribution mean more people can enjoy their beers. This strategic move positions Von Ebert for continued growth. It solidifies their presence in the competitive Oregon beer market. The brewery continues to evolve its tradition and craft.
